I'm certainly not a Dodge fanboy, but they built a pretty insane car worth talking about. BMWs are nice cars, but I find the brand snobbery of some BMW owners a bit offputting. The SRT performance group has put out some insane high power performance cars over the year which I'm sure you're aware of.

Chrysler can't build something good?

Unless it's 0% interest and even then only with a large downpayment. The exact dollar savings are one thing but you should always be wary of having a car loan that is underwater compared to the value of the car.

Sounds like you're missing your mark by 44MPG

Can you ask Adam if the flames that shoot out of my tailpipe are helpful when trying to hypermile?

GM Geo Metro swap?

Don't make the mistake of thinking that $4000 will get you through a full season of LeMons racing. If you buy a $500 car it will have at least $1000 worth of parts that need replaced after the first race. 3 races will easily cost your team $8-10k, especially if you want a competitive B class car.

I'd think anyone who buys a car based on "prestige" can be influenced by social media and advertising. Looking at you, C Class buyers.

Deliver us two Evos.

Apparently the ones in the 1700s were more bloodthirsty. Oh well. BTW - not trying to disparage your hobby, just made me laugh when I pictured a fancy rat in a top hat ordering a dry martini.

I now want to start my own fancy rat fighting league. Thanks for the inspiration!

Or is this because you're British and this is fancy in the sense of "it's a rat, but it's not one I'd like to kill, I actually fancy it"?

How does one tell if a rat is Fancy or not? Additionally, can we apply this nomenclature to clothing? I would like to dub my fanciest pair of Dockers my Fancy Pants.

Haha "fancy rats"

Unpossible.

Be careful Big Jalopnik doesn't hear about your sleuthing or your account may mysteriously get Kinja'd in the middle of the night, never to be heard from again.
