I do not understand this idea of caring about people I don’t know and their life choices. like we never celebrate when two celebrities choose to not procreate. it’s all very weird to me.

while I agree I view his isolation also in the kind of media he surrounds himself with. he cannot stand bad press but he also doesn’t understand criticism. that kind of denial is as isolating as ignoring it completely. in my opinion.

unfortunately the people playing him are his advisors - not anyone remotely suited to the job. his advisors are making it so that trump is completely isolated and so they can control him.

I feel this way about Lupita. Not because she didn’t do a film but because there were many women of color who did work this year and were nominated for awards. it feels like an odd choice.

I once did a professional photo shoot and it changed my life, because I realized it was all pretend. I had a terrible skin condition and the make up alone made it COMPLETELY disappear. I no longer envy photos produced within an inch of their life.
