It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it sounds like the Ian is making mountains of (monty) molehills to me.
That wasn’t as satisfying as I was expecting.
Personally, I’m fine paying that in order to keep classics like Super Metroid and LttP on hand, if nothing else.

Yeah, I don’t buy this. It makes zero sense for Nintendo to cancel something like this because it was leaked. I think it’s speculation that somehow got turned into a story.
It’s probably the most refined Mario containing linear levels. As long as you’re not expecting something more open world like Odyssey or Mario 64, it’s great. But even if you do want open world, it sounds like the Bowser’s Fury side game will scratch that itch.
