I’m only commenting to tell you I’m buying this game AND I pre-ordered it.  No regrets!  I guess you must think I’m stupid.  Darn.

You’re definitely not the target age group.  It’s pretty clear these sets are for kids.

I think VII is a much better FF to jump into than XII. Combat is turn based like DQXI. And if the older graphics don’t bug you, the story still holds up.

The original isn’t going anywhere.  Just play that.

Different strokes for different folks. I’m basically the same age as you and am looking forward to the remake, since it gives me a chance to play a beloved game from my teen years in a whole new perspective.

Eh, I didn’t think it was that bad. It’s such a quick montage of out of context moments, that I don’t even remember most of them after watching it once.

Nah, the trade dispute thing was never a problem. It’s literally just a quick set-up in the opening crawl to get good guys fighting bad guys. If the movie was executed well, no one would complain. But the writing, direction and acting were not executed well.

Only way I could see it working is if Ford bookends the beginning and end as old Indy while he recounts one of his previous adventures with a new actor portraying him. Ford is just too old for the action stuff now.

I think people need to stop assuming every PS4 game is going to get a PS5 remaster.
