1/2oth seems extreme. I would be surprised if the entire FF7 remake is more than 3 games.

I would believe that for other companies but this is Square. Their games always take forever. If our choices are waiting another 5-8 years for the whole experience or getting an enhanced “episode” every 2 or 3 years, I’ll take the latter personally.

If that’s what you’re worried about I would just buy the original game instead.

To be fair, a big reason why the original RE2 may have taken longer is the door loading screens.  They add up.

Square probably doesn’t even know yet.

I doubt even Square knows yet how many games it will be split into. Up until recently word was they haven’t even started on the second one yet.

You’re going to be waiting for 8-10 years.

Play VI if you want to play the best old school FF.

Was it really that surreal or dreamlike though? I guess one can interpret it that way. But the game was basically a playable anime.

I don’t know, I think this game has plenty of fans.  But the people who don’t like it, really don’t like it from what I’ve seen.

I thought the visuals were great.  The game had some beautiful landscapes.  They weren’t flashy but the weren’t trying to be.  I couldn’t care less if it looked like the actual US or not.  I just chalked it up to “it’s the future and an apocalypse happened.”

Someone’s sensitive to this topic.  Lot of PS4 exclusives you’ve wanted to try but couldn’t, eh?

I’m not really in the middle of any specific game right now. There’s a lot I’m casually bouncing between though like Resident Evil 2, Frostpunk, Stardew Valley, Yoshi’s Island and Battlefront 2. I was thinking of some Horizon Zero Dawn too. What it comes down to is I’m basically just killing time until Doom Eternal…

What do you expect for $7? They honestly look better than what I would expect at that price point.

I’m just sitting here bummed Cyber Shadow isn’t out until the Fall.  I was hoping for a stealth release this week, even if it was a long shot.
