Blame Hollywood.  Apparently even Sega is not crazy about how Sonic looks.

You’re the one projecting here.

lol.  Whatever you say Mr. Icepick in the Eye.

Shit man, you are way too wound up over a semi-annualized Ubisoft video game and some strangers opinion about it on the internet. I hope it doesn’t keep you up at night.

Dude, settle down.

I literally did. Your reasoning of “it would have 0 actual effect on things” is while you’ll never be in charge of a company like Disney.

Because if Disney/Marvel were going to drop a new Avengers trailer during a live telecast, they’re going to do it during a major event like a sport game on ABC which is owned by Disney. Not a video game award show.

If you’re angry at them, don’t watch it. That’ll show them.

I bet Nintendo tweeted the same thing about you.

Just an indie title that goes by Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

I do. And I also remember that was an entirely different context.

The problem is publishers and other journalism outlets start hyping things up ahead of time so people get it in their heads to expect e3 level announcements. Always best to temper expectations.

Even if the game sucks?

I went to slam his head into the tip of the pen but somehow pressed the wrong button and ended up knocking him out instead so I had to snap his neck :\  Luckily I still made it out even though all the guards were on high alert.

Didn’t say it was clever.

Note I never said the story was good. The writing and overall plot was average at best. But I’ll still take a memorable, if poorly executed, ending over a cliched “we beat the cultists and everything’s ok now!” one.

Basically, the whole premise of the game is you’re fighting back against an armed cult who thinks the end is coming. The leader and his lieutenants are portrayed as crazy but it turns out they were basically right the whole time. At the end of the game, once you defeat their leader, you go to arrest him and a nuke

Yeah, those parts were definitely annoying.  Once was fine but after that it was like come on.

I thought so. At least it was memorable. People complain like “nothing I did mattered!” but it’s not like the story was anything special in the first place. Also, if you’re having fun with the game’s main focus (ie, hopping in vehicles, shooting guns and making things go explody), I don’t see how the ending makes the

So salty.
