I really have to ask, is that a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro joystick? I used to have one of those ages ago.. played tons of mechwarrior 3 with it. Good peripheral.

yup, I have to admit I've hit as high as 30 on highway. those cars are made for travelling. They're so comfortable! ...damn, now I wanna go on a road trip again..

The rain effect was what sold me on this. I've yet to see a game where rain looks modestly real. Usually it's just the droplets that hit the ground what shows, but in this one I can definitely see the rain itself as it falls. Impressive!

In that same note, I almost couldn't believe that the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis and the Jetta 1.8t consume roughly the same amount of gas..

honestly my dad's Grand Marquis is quite efficient for a V8 so I totally believe you. But coming from a 2001 jetta to a 1.6 miata myself, the change in mileage is pretty noticeable. The jetta's 1.8t burns gas like a V6...

Wow!! very awesome videos, many thanks to you both. This pretty much explains the electronic yet responsive power steering that Jason mentioned in the article. it's basically got the feedback of manual steering with the lightness of ps. I'm impressed!
