I’m going to assume it’s a tax-dodging way for him to get even more money out of the settlement. Kind of like why starring actors make movies with their production company, rather than just sign on as an employee with a high salary.

I wonder if the writers will take an episode off and have Larroquette trapped in the rickety old elevator for 20 minutes? They only did that 3 times in the original series, so there’s got to be more he can do with that premise.

And he’s feeling much better now!

Don’t be ridiculous, cousin.

“The Dirty Duck” sounds like a disgusting, scatalogical sex act.  It’s probably also the most popular item on the menu.

Why not a giant cannabis infused gumball?

Not as sad as the parking attendant sitting in the little booth.

Insurance is one of those not-so-hidden costs of a new vehicle that few people truly consider when making a purchase. If you’re carrying a note on the car, you’ll probably be required to carry comprehensive coverage instead of just liability. That could easily be $300/mo added to your total costs.

New model designs would require some amount of re-tooling in the factories, after all the R&D work was done.  That costs money, and would eat into profit margins.  Elon hasn’t gotten to that chapter in his little book of “How to be an Automotive Mogul” yet.

Study was probably using data from before Seattle started its twice-a-week “Rolled-over semi blocks all lanes of 5/90/405/520/167 for 6 hours“ fest of the past year.

Most metro areas build subways or light rail to help with people commuting to work. How many Vegas hotel/casino/resort workers live in a nearby hotel/casino/resort? There’s little incentive to move people between places that are all considered to be “destinations”.

Can I still Afeela that (e)VTEC, yo?

I can see the usefulness of self-driving vehicles for long haul transport, but daily personal driving involves too many poorly marked streets & driveways for it to be reliable.

This is why you never open an umbrella on the tarmac.

I always thought the therapy sessions were started as a play on the “Analyze This/That” movies, and a more clever way to provide the narration that most mob movies utilize to provide the exposition that isn’t possible in dialogue.

Part of me wonders if the dealerships that are balking at the investment just don’t want to open their books to the lenders who would provide the required funds.

Just think how great EV’s will be when Tesla spins off the SuperCharger Network into a separate company, and that new company opens their network to all EV owners.  It really is the part of Tesla that has the most long-term value, and they are going to need that mountain of cash sooner than later.

The same kind of family that has a schedule for who gets to use the mountain cabin, the beach house, or the 40' sailboat during the year.  You know, the Trust-Funderson family.

You would think that with a truly vertically integrated supply chain they could get something other than a stock tablet for the controls.

Doesn’t matter how much someone supposedly “knows how to drive in the snow” when there is 2+ inches of ice and everything is on a slope. Lack of friction and inescapable gravity makes everyone a shitty driver.
