The other benefit is that EV delivery vehicles can be fitted with the sensor equipment necessary for more advanced autonomous driving on a mass scale by passenger vehicles.

There will be a tipping point where the combination of battery capacity and charging rate will come close to the current situation we enjoy with petrol and ICE cars. (500 miles with a 5-7 minute recharge?)  Once that is reached, it’s only a matter of infrastructure build out.

The miracle here is that the car crashed into the PERFECT target. The truck was on its side (allowing it to slide), the roof of the container was lightly reinforced, and the cargo appears to be essentially peanut butter.
