This may have been answered before, but whatever happened to your red XJ that you hydrolocked the motor in? Would it be worthwhile to swap the engine of the electrical nightmare swiss-cheese jeep into the red one? Condense two vehicles down to one?

Ya know, from that diagram it sure looks like the fuel-tank is mounted in the engine bay. Would it be possible the engine is “jacketed” to prevent excess heat from saturating the fuel tank? Just a thought!

Popping in from the E30 engine swap community, but the S52 that was in the E36 M3 doesn’t perform nearly as well for forced induction as the M50 from the standard E36 does. Stock with FI the M50 is capable of absurd reliable power with just a set of head studs, the S52 on the other hand with it’s aluminum block is
