Margaritas or LSD? *huh*

@tumes: It was a poor choice of words - I meant nice, lovely smell of almonds (even bitter almond smells somewhat sweetish), not the smell of sweet almonds.

@JustTee: I guess I'm just one of those people that prefer not to take words lightly. I do agree that love and hate devaluated over the time and are today applied to a broad set of light-hearted emotions, but I still cannot understand applying any kind of emotions to an abstract concept (from a personal point of

@watercurses: Nope, cyanide smells like almonds. I have first hand, or shall I say nose experience. No worries, I didn't drink it only to return as a zombie to haunt Giz readers :D

@FrankenPC: While I don't agree with his initial statement, what makes yours any more true? Most popular Linux distributions are pretty sweet, too.

If you have strong emotions (and love and hate are, right after fear, the strongest emotions we can experience) for some company, you should use your money in getting a good psychotherapist instead of throwing it down the companys' throat.

Ah, I was living in a blissful ignorance not giving a damn about football, and consequently not even knowing what a vuvuzela is. Thanks Giz for broadening my horizons with this god-awful annoying `sound`...

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? ... Well, actually a bit of both...

@Kaiser-Machead: I beg to differ. There certainly was maltreatment of the plane in this video. That mean bird deserves to end up in a soup!

@jyoon: laser guns are also enabling you to kill somebody without risking to be killed in a process, and from a great distance too... There is a good reason why we are not using swords any more...

Michio Kaku proposed a way to do it. Still, even to this day I fail to see the point of a lightsaber - laser guns are far more effective - apart from the visual effect of course.

@Nitesh Singh: Precisely... A high-risk prank, but still... Revenge is a dish best served dissolved! (and no, I won't tell you what my gf did to deserve this)

@ilves: problem with UV sterilization when it comes to this is - it may damage polarized lenses, and it will certainly damage shutter LCDs over prolonged period of time. The best way is to buy your own 3D glasses and use them instead. Unfortunately, many cinemas will not allow you to bring your own pair.

@Monty: while I don't agree that it would be your fault - it would be the fault of your idiot of a child - under the law you are oblidged to protect your offspring. So, Walrus or not, it would be your fault. Still, dying along the way wouldn't make you any less of a bad parent.

If they find her, they should send the bill for rescuing to her parents. If they don't, they should send them her Darwin Award. And that's all there is to it.

@jonthan.c.chan: so, you are all for allowing teenagers to take drugs, smoke, drink, star in porn movies... Or in those cases it's not so arbitrary?

@eatamez2: yes, our ancients were the ones NOT to die at the age of 16... That's why we now live over 90. Do you think it is coincidence that the most advanced nations live the longest?

@Monty: so, two potential deaths are better than one?
