I have absolutely no psych background but lately I've been thinking about people who are so purely racist or sexist that they literally don't view the hated demographic as truly human. I think of it as "selective sociopathy" and wonder if this is actually a thing, or just an indication they are true sociopaths? I feel

Now playing

I think this is the only thing that really captures and celebrates the full grossness of the phrase:

I liked how by the end of Mockingjay, it wasn't even a choice between the two (not that the books were ever about that but you know). There was no pretense of a happy ending. She and Gale went down very different paths and by the end, Katniss has been so thoroughly fucked up by all the trauma that Peeta is pretty much

I love families where one kid looks just like one parent and the other totally looks like the other parent. See also, Willow and Jaden Smith

Doing so many of these must be exhausting for them.

It kind of looks like the deer is holding a paddle.

I agree. Of all the things to criticize him for, this is not one.

My hope/expectation for the very last episode is a giant wedding where everyone marries everyone they're making polite, sexually repressed eyes at. EVERYONE.

The hats were so on point this season!

Honestly, if my body looked like that I would wear way less clothing too. *shrug*

And when those who think they're not really doing anything wrong see others doing the same thing and not being punished, it reinforces their perception that it's not really wrong. So I agree punishment is a reinforcement of the idea 'yes, this is wrong don't do it'.

Let's see. Self defense unit in high school gym, every year, for the girls only. Mandatory. The boys played football. Consent was NOT a part of coed health class. Two day self defense workshop and lecture on drinking freshman year of college. Women only. Graduation requirement, aka mandatory.

Not really considering that most programs are targeted specifically at women.

I think having more punishments handed down would make other students more aware and make them think more about their own actions.

Yes! Colleges generally discourage victims from filing formal charges because they don't want the school to look bad, but they would look so much better if they drew a hard line and let rapists be punished as fully as possible. I think the problem is not only do so many young men truly not know or believe that they're

I really want to believe this, but it's not happening nearly fast enough.

Bullying seems to be the new word for any kind of harassment, honestly.

Same. I hate everything being linked to facebook, or when you can only comment via facebook, not because I'm going to say terrible things but just because I DON'T FUCKING WANT ALL OF MY INTERNET PRESENCE TOTALLY CONNECTED. I don't want youtube comments to use my full name because NO ONE NEEDS TO KNOW MY FULL NAME.

This! This is a way bigger deal for me. I don't have a smartphone, but every time I see some of those Samsung monstrosities.... WHO CAN FIT THAT IN THEIR POCKET?

I think the unrealistic part is his hair/general face area.
