That’s what your horn is for. I will give a very short blip on the horn to let the person in front of me know that hey, the light has changed.

The light bulb of course needs replaced because some idiot hit it with a cyber hammer.

Not really a new concept, these sound a lot like the Gargoyle from Neal Stephenson’s Snow Crash.

My 1987 Mazda 323 had an air vent on the driver’s side that seemed very odd, until I actually used it and it provided so much additional comfort.

The Lamy al-star is a more durable version of the Safari (metal bodied) but the Pilot Metropolitan and Platinum plaisir are both excellent low cost pens.

As an editor you should be more careful with your use of language. He wasn’t fired which implies he had somehow done something wrong. He was made redundant as they no longer needed a parking attendant for the car park that was no longer there.

Dang that is an expensive adapter. I paid $11 for a Farmunion one, that uses standard spade connectors on the back, is illuminated, has 2 USB ports, and is about the same size as a toggle switch.

Umm, I bought two different pairs of glasses a while ago, based on the information from NASA... Amazon has refunded me for both of them... But they are from a reputable manufacturer and not really mentioned in the AAS list. Why? Because I bought shade 14 welding goggles which meet the standards for shade 14 welding

If you need an unusual ruler but it doesn’t have to be totally accurate then printing is a lot cheaper, and it is also faster.

But it doesn’t make us safer. You can only carry 3.4 fluid Oz of liquid, unless it is medically necessary, like “saline” for your contact lenses. And then you can carry as much as you “need” including claiming you need one bottle for each eye.

No, it is the badly designed regulations which don’t contribute to security and are unevenly applied that ruin it. Read the list of what you can and can’t carry... now look for the bit that says that this list is not final and that the TSA can decide when you are in line what you can and cannot actually fly with.
