I dont know if youre familiar but if you were on 4chan occasionally for the past decade the evolution of the online right wing community was pretty clear.

Youre on the money my man. Took me a few minutes online to fully assume this guy makes his fortune at the expense of ideas i care about and he spends it on himself ALOT!

So when people hold up a game and say “here is why this sucks’ the unspoken implication is that a game without those flaws would be better.

that was 2008 bro. Like optimism is cool, but in this case i think it might be blinding you to the harsh reality of current video games.

    “...but just dont buy it”

If Tyson stopped killing chickens and started growing mushrooms that would be news. Same deal for epic and original ideas.

I feel personally disrespected because of community. Its extra tragic considering the TV show that would lend relevance to so many fringe cultural ideas would also be the stick that beats those ideas to death.

Ive found the amouranth takes on here to be fairly un-nuanced celebrations of celebrity. Think about how many talk show hosts lauded Kim K over her business acumen.

Without making any judgements as to motivation i dont see how folks cant go ahead and assume this is lip service to avoid parsing the nature of her work.

    a confluence of factors.

i really liked trigun and ive watched through three times i think but maybe only twice.... there are alot of small indicators that the plot is more serious early on if you know how it ends.

ya dude like the plot from the original was pretty much all held in wierd nuance you had to piece together after the final episode. I mean the reason vash loses his arm i cant remember but im pretty sure it was a downer which would inform alot of your second watch through the show.

this specifically was the thing that drew in alot of kids to watch anime over traditional American cartoons. Something serious wouldnt have competed well against a whacky cartoon in the slot afterward but something wacky with a crumb of plot kept you waiting for next week and lots of kids shrugged off the antics of

Cant remember where i heard it but im pretty certain F-zero is gone for good. I looked into it awhile back when i made the leap away from Nintendo (thats what it is too, its not a choice nintendo is a vortex one escapes)

Youre right but i think the issue is just being misidentified. Where i have lived in North America it is very common for the children of boomers to do just as little personal thinking and take for granted that they are entitled to not even consider issues that crop up.

The description of the mod has me leery.... like i dont quite have anarcho-capitalist bingo but i think i would only need a cagey mention of ‘tradition’ or ‘heritage’ and i would be calling it.

Im not an advocate of violence but if “meta-comedy” were a living thing i would be morally obliged to kill it dead.

... well i never knew that existed and i dont think im better off having learned about said incident.... america truly is an inside out oroboros (snake with head up its own ass)

ya man this was essentially my take on rick and morty too. Its like they want you to pat them on the back for noticing young people like something new and tossing it in next to something from philosophy to make stuff seem high-minded without actually saying anything.

O dang! That’s kind of hilariously plot relevant. The article was right. This scene matters.
