Speedrunning in games might be the thing that officially pushes me over into being “old”.

This happened to me alot because in older games because of stat checkers. I would screw around alot so i had K:D ratio that was not indicative of my skill but players on my team in small games would drop after checking my profile.

Ya i remember having a weird fight with my lady because movies with sexualized content were somehow worse than the literally countless decapitations in the LOTR movies for some reason...

I actually just got through wolfenstein 2 (new one) and freaking loved it. The gameplay was tight but the cutscenes were just so freaking over the top i couldnt handle it. I cant help but feel like the whole thing was a massive troll to anyone in america’s poltical right with nazi sympathies too. I mean that right

Between this and Disney maybe its time we all just admit that capitalism makes art worse.

I dont have alot of popular opinions.... to me MGS4 was a masterpiece and i have no idea why we wanted less from our games. MGSV felt like a betrayal and then they got rid of kojima and death stranding was a wild ride again so it all worked out for the best.

I think the nose thing would be best used as a metaphor. Like if you lie too many times in an area people say something like “I know youve been sticking your fat nose all over the place in town lately”

Its because America somehow managed to afford personal quality to someone for noticing a thing exists. i.e. “o man you like this obscure band? me too!” -or more telling “youve probably never heard of the music i like its too *insert douchey term”

Look im not gonna get into the relevance of art or what belongs where.

Its because there is a common refrain in North america that allows value to be afforded to a situation that should be discounted because of the racist world it existed in. “Racism was common back then so everyone was a little racist” with the unsaid implication that this was ok and we shouldnt level racism as a

Gotta say stuff like this has changed my purchasing habits with video games.
