got in a flame war over this because high schools on prince edward island (canadas smallest province for anyone unaware) stopped teaching to kill a mockingbird.

i hope the pay is good

The premise of review bombing and stat skewing is extremely common with video games. It is a valid criticism to claim that positive commentary on BF 2042 may be untrustworthy.

Criticism of a thing doesnt invalidate enjoyment of it. I am one of many people who really enjoys watching bad movies. It doesnt matter what people say about the new fast and furious i want to watch Dwayne Johnson pretend to lift a running car.

I was more referencing the side content. There are a ton of quest lines from the cities and a decently in depth trading mechanic. I dont want to give anything away but mechanically that part of the game felt kinda dated.

No. Your definition of aesthetics isn't important.

Horizon zero dawn was pretty well immaculate. It’s one of the few games I legitimately enjoyed every part of.

I thought the same thing. Basically like “damn if those palm trees were cedar this could be GTA:montreal.”

Well man if it’s just the time commitment I think you mighta been leaning too tanky with your build. You need to hit hard to have stagger effects on alot of enemies. If you’re like me and never level health you’ll start staggering punks with a spear and a rapier.

One of my best bosses ever would bend over backwards to make his female employees comfortable. (in a machine shop too) It was one of the reasons I worked so hard for him and the environment in general was welcoming and constructive.

Im not sure this is an activision problem. I’ve worked for bosses who feel like it’s their right to be tipsy all the time. I’ve worked at a factory where a manager regularly harassed women and HR fired a male because he engaged in concensual relations outside of work with another employee. I sold insurance for a week

Now that you mention it that makes alot of sense. I frequented forums alot back then and the British ones were usually more fun or related to actual gameplay stuff whereas as our NA chats were just lore and fantasy all day every day.

You have to think about stuff like farcry skyrim or the witcher. All those titles have truly gripping moments. Getting from one of those motivating factors to the next can be very inconsistent and games deal with it in different ways. Farcry has its random encounters Skyrim had locations that would pull you onto

Its a bummer but ya that was basically my experience. Got into it with a friend right when necrons came out. Dude was super serious about how cool the space marines were. (specifically remember lots of bs about spartan culture)

From the look of the trailer it seems like kiting might be a valid strategy in a way. Lots of enemies hit eachother and there were a bunch of disruption based mechanics explained.

I was chiding you a little. I get that you are skeptical of elden ring being as great as the hype is making it out.

    Animal Crossing NH/

man that is not a good look

Souls games are like level based zelda games. Think like if the whole game was a dungeon and the combat was ALOT more in depth.

Of course there will be some innocuous things. If everything was a trap you wouldnt fall for any of them.
