No, not really...
No, not really...
Ah, the old Appeal to Accomplishment fallacious argument. That sort of flawed argument carried to its extreme pretty much negates almost all automotive journalism (even Jalopnik!) in regard to discussing styling and engineering.
I suppose if you look someone straight in the eye well ahead of time and explicitly explain to them that, given the chance, you will not hesitate to fuck them over, then they have no one to blame but themselves when you do.
This is why no one talks to you at parties.
I hope they remember to paint the rear end on this one.
Meet the new car
At least these abominations are almost immediately removable, unlike the tacky wraps or ill-conceived bodykits some GTs have to endure.
Hopefully it's from the gross. I don't think any Hollywood movie has ever made a net profit once all the accountants and finance guys are done with it.
Some are more prone to twists and wiggles than others.
If memory serves me right, cutting the top off of the S30 platform has been a recipe for massive body twists and wiggles. Any stress cracks in the fiberglass yet? There will be...
No one said "sales too low". You projected that.
Exterior: -5 for that blacked out rear section. Looks tacky and unfinished on a light-colored car. I stand by my prediction that the rear-end will be the main focus of the C7's mid-run restyling, losing both the Camaro-inspired tail lights and the pseudo-unpainted lower bumper. If sales dip too soon you might see…
I thought they were moving away from retro. To my eyes, it looks like yet another minor variation on the standard Mustang styling cues. YMMV.
It's too late to edit, but I should ammend my suggested QotD topic to read
This is yet another great car that is practically impossible to find in stock form.
Wouldn't it be cool if the manual Colorado had an honest-to-god long, skinny floor mounted shifter with no console? That's a truck shifter.
Perhaps I'm too ignorant of the breed to appreciate its provenance, but it seems a bit high for such wear and decay.
I have three boys now 21, 17, 14 who were taught how to behave in public once they were old enough to understand the concept. Before that I did not inject them inappropriately into the adult world.
