I don’t have this brand, but these things are amazing and I highly recommend them.

It’s totally worth the investment.

Yeah, it’s pretty great. I hate shaving, so I usually don’t except in the summer when my dark hair just ends up looking gross (personal taste, I just don’t dig it.) So, maxi dresses are an important piece of my lazy-routine-equation.

Seriously. What is up with necklines these days. It’s always at one end of extreme: too high or too low. I’m forever searching for appropriate work tops.

My workplace is so random when it comes to attire. From day to day I see a range of corporate pant/skirt suits to jeans and sweatshirt. A new hire asked for advice...the best I could recommend was business casual. No jeans (unless it’s Friday,) and nothing too revealing anywhere.

Yup, I’m 34. When I was a teenager, it was still considered nerdy/uncool to be online, at all, and definitely not for hours at a stretch. I resent being lumped in with 18 year olds.

I was in this sit in 2009 when I dropped out of grad school and landed in unemployment. Back home I went and I was there over a year until I met my now husband and eventual job. Things are better, but not by leaps and bounds.

Someone: help me get the hell out of the state that is Wisconsin. I need a job and a decent sized apartment with light. Where do I go?

The other day I was telling my husband (who takes Rotten Tomatoes as God’s word) that I take those ratings with a grain of salt—it’s obvious to me the ratings skew toward the preferences of young (white) men. He didn’t believe me. I win.

More people need to be saying this. Thank you for saying this.

This. It’s trolling come to life. The whole defense of: I’m not an angry person, I’m just playing one to be representative of all the angry people, is ludicrous on its face. Own your actions and words, people.

I was hoping someone would mention The Poisoner’s Handbook. It’s a fascinating read.

Oh man, I might have to start squirreling away for one. Thanks for posting!!

This post revamped my search for a laptop tote (I have a 17inch, for which it’s impossible to find decent bags.) This one looks promising.

As my nibblings would say: That is beeeeuteaful!

How gorgeous! I’m a bit envious. This is right up my alley. Last week I finished watching the entire run with my husband for the first time. I was in college when Potter craze hit its stride in the US, so I never had time to pick it up or wrap my head around the obsession. But I get it now. When the last scene played

No kidding.

I hadn’t thought about the Steven Avery case in awhile, but came across a write-up about the law degree holding-reporters who originally covered the trial. Haven’t read much of it yet, but sharing anyway:
