“should the player continue these actions, the world will reflect back knowledge of them.”
And you’re kind of deluded if you think buying or not buying this game makes any meaningful impact on JK Rowling’s finances or bigotry. Not to mention you’re also deluded if you think this game was the sole product of JK Rowling. Go donate to Mermaids if you actually want to do something that makes a difference.
Mutahar (SomeOrdinaryGamers) said it best, the developers of the game will suffer the most, while JK will be fine regardless of how this does.
“But, should the player continue these actions, the world will reflect back knowledge of them.”
This truly is a bizarre article. A cheap kit of 16GB DDR4 (what most people are going to have in their system right now) goes for less than $50, that’s cheaper than most new games. Sure, it’s an extra cost to upgrade, but I mean you’re upgrading from playing games still playable on PS4 to playing games only playable…
Holy shit lol I’m progressive and liberal, but this is the type of shit that gets us made fun of. Google “nuance” or “context” and stop typing with tears in your eyes.
Unlike a lot of Google services, Stadia had a very clear target audience of people who A) Want to play AAA games and B) have high-speed internet but C) don’t have a high end PC or a console.
You may not like it, or want to promote it, but the hogwarts game is at the top of this list. I’m not paying for it, but to leave it off the list is telling.
What do you think, McCarthy, can you give me a number crunch?
Police Quest certainly did a splendid job of disabusing anyone of the notion that police work was 24/7 car chases and exciting showdowns with villains. It also had a legendarily pedantic approach. I recall the very first time I was actually in a gunfight (many hours into the game) I hit “fire weapon” and blew my own…
Why not a police sim? It’s a game and games should allow one to take up the mantle of someone else and walk in their shoes, be it a person of another gender, profession, country or a dragon, a spirit or a cloud.
And to those people, I say: “Come on, really? Come on.”
