All he has to do is avoid specifics. It can be ambitious and daring and all that without needing to be a Second Coming. Just avoid specifics features because there’s always a chance they might get cut/altered and he’s fine.

I thought I’ve seen everything by now, but you’ve managed to surprise me with bowling animation erotica. Ugh. 

I preferred having all the companies giving their shows in the same 3-4 day span. I liked having that week to look forward to, and the chance to just watch show after show expecting surprises. I liked when a trailer started and we’re all guessing what it could possibly be.

The biggest loss is not the game announcements. People can watch all the targetted advertisements they crave off publisher currated streams all they want.

Terrible trend. Even the move away from it has made a horrible mess of announcement videos/trailers/etc the rest of the year. Frankly, while there were a lot of valid criticisms of E3, the alternative hasn’t exactly sold itself.

Honestly, I’m a little bummed. For gamers, there’s just something about the excitement of getting a whole week devoted to the thing you love, with big presentations and the anticipation of huge reveals.

I am really going to miss the solid week of game announcements. It was a perfect time to kick back, maybe even take a few days off, watch the conferences / gameplay demos and snark about everything with friends.
