Others probably said it but Alt+F4 isn’t a forced close. It’s just a widely used shortcut. Many games still ask you before closing even using that. It’s just many quit without asking too, but it's not forced and the game itself controls it.  Also, you can use it on the Windows desktop too in order to bring up the

My family is largely Ukrainian-American and my nephew self-taught himself Ukrainian and even he spelled it Kiev until recently, just because that's how it was largely known internationally.

What’s worse is they took Epic's bribe money too, dramatically shrinking the game's PC exposure.

It’s quite sad, but times change. I think the last time I actively visited the chain was in the GameCube/PS2 days. I was also ignorant and thought GameStop bought and erased Babbage’s focus on PC stuff. The truth that it was a transformation was shocking to me.

I should have read this before making my other reply.  I'm not adding anything but just acknowledging I understand where you were coming from.

The point is it’s private time. It was a mistake making that the headline rather than the actual sexism highlighted in the article, and enables demonization of sexuality. It is a horrible mistake to not only equate that with sexism, but to highlight it above things like treatment of breastfeeding women, ranking the

Trolls don’t tend to appeal to decency, nor do they tend to refuse to respond to name calling with immaturity. The notion this guy has “plants” is a tad silly. It’s just plain weird to me people are offended by decency. I used to think of the right as being the prime example of that with constant whining about

That monsters aren’t necessarily malevolent is a good point. I don’t think malevolence is ever a good thing, though.

Actually it's over the counter in some counties, but it just restores lost or reduced function and doesn't increase size.  It's also nowhere near that expensive.  Perhaps it was originally.

While I initially thought that, is there any direct comparison to the scale of what is going on, and the circumstance?

They made the right decision.  They didn't cater to self-righteous control freaks but also gave people more options who would prefer less revealing clothing.  I'm not sure if FFXIV always handled this in an equal opportunity way, but it's a perfect example.

What’s odd is some people still claim grinding doesn't help in these games when it very much does

The Horizon Zero Dawn devs actually played that card but relented and included more visual options for the PC version.   Specifically, they gave a hilariously pretentious artistic experience excuse in planning to have no FoV slider.

It clearly shows pause is possible and absolutely needs no patch.  You still can't manage your inventory either, anyway.

Did you read the article at all? You can, in fact, pause the game. It’s just not obvious how.

Russian people need access to the global community.  I fear if platforms with actual communications features join in it's going to hurt the most vulnerable minorities in Russia, and please Putin by cutting off lines of communication.

Sadly it's more those who Putin allows to be rich or even exist.  Even they may hold no power over him.

I have a Russian acquaintance on Steam. They have an anime girl picture, and I feel like there is likely little outlet for people like him if Russia is totally cut off.

That’s just messed up if they try to exert that much control over people, as far as needing to “present single.”  It reminds me of the ridiculous puritanical rules schools used to have in the USA, like “Must not visit ice cream parlors.” or whatever.

This kind of thing is part of these games to me. There is a vocal subset of fans that act as if light armor aggressive play is the only way to play, but that’s never been the case in these games. Developers can do things to force fights to only be winnable in certain ways, but doing that often feels artificial.
