Yeah lawyers never lie a lot of ppl forget that

The "Occupy Wall Street" jab was the hottest of takes from three years ago. If you are able to come up with takes that are just as hot but which date you by another three decades or so, you could write for Grantland during Simmons's suspension.

Always remember: This sort of faux-moderate "silent majority" bullshit is what elected that great defender of the Republic and our rights: President Richard Nixon.

Maybe they should, like, pay their workers a fair wage.

Yes, there is a dark side to the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fandom: bronies who sexualize the cartoon (if you want some NSFW examples, here you go) are known as "cloppers." But, as one brony reluctantly tells me with a sad, little shrug, "It's a disappointing inevitability of any fan community."

So it's either increased incarceration rates or internet commenting? Yep that makes sense. And it's either lock offenders up for longer periods of time or we do nothing. Yep makes total sense.

I don't think the issue is toughness of the laws. Tough laws haven't solved society's problems as of yet, and I doubt ever-tougher legislation is going to do much more than incarcerate more people. That might make us feel good about ourselves but I don't think it's really going to make anyone safer.

Except, you know, nobody ever got fucking lynched or elected Ronald Reagan because of the pitcher hitting.

What sorts of activities should former convicts be allowed to do? The answer to rape culture is not executing rapists, beating/lynching them (as some in these comments recommend), or excluding them from all parts of civil society. The answer has to come from effective law enforcement and society not making excuses for

So you think beating the guy to death would be appropriate.

"However, as sexual offenders have a high rate of recidivism" — they really don't. Particularly juvenile sex offenders.

The Washington Times isn't a real newspaper anyways.

The only thing I object to in this is the "mall foodcourt" line.

Given that maybe three people in Houston have access to CSN-Houston, it effectively wasn't televised here, either.

Sharknado is all hype. It's not a "real" shitty movie. Doesn't count.

"Because something something steroids"

One of the primary concerns of the American Jewish leadership (by-and-large conservative and allied with the GOP, as opposed to the overwhelmingly liberal Jewish-American community) is the "issue" of intermarriage in the Jewish-American community. There is also a similar concern amongst the Israeli leadership.

serve backhand?

Well it's not even like he's sending out a full body shot or something. It's just "hello here's my dong in super close up action."
