Probably Ninja Gaiden 2 or Dark Souls. I played through Ninja Gaiden a LOT because I wanted to they the 1000 score for it on xbox, but that required beating that game like 10 times or something. I only ever managed about 5 or 6 runs through but by that point I was quoting the dialog and had all the enemy spawns and

As it happens there is a MUCH more reasonable reason for the name. Xbox auto generates names when you get temporary accounts. I thought betrayed snail was such an incredibly dumb name I had to keep it.

He's got a huge secret level too! If you are so inclined, there are lots of really good let's plays of that game. Good because of the level of skill.

If I should happen to be on ps4 when you are looking, send me an invite. I am betrayedsnail. I can help with any or all of those.

Normally I would actually read the article and then read all the other comments before posting but I am much much more busy with this new job so I don't have too much time at the moment. I'll try to read them all later and make the same stupid comments I always do!

"Hmm. Tigah. Ti-gah. Tigah tigah tigah. Hmmm. "Bird. Birdie. Bird bird birdie"

"How 'bout a PARALYZER! …a-noth-er PARALYZER!"

Yeah, it's an odd movie to trick people into hating. I mean gopherchuks and the fighting cow and tonguey are pretty dumb these days (and probably were then, too), but the movie has maintained a pretty steady baseline of people yelling "That's a lot of nuts!", to the confusion of most everyone else.

My go-to procrastination game is probably either Kingdom Rush or Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup on my phone. Stone Soup is really good for just doing a couple of floors and then saving and quitting. Or, more frequently, rolling up a new character and splatting him or her on the 4th floor to a nasty ogre club or an Orc

With respect to Rocket League, I only realized a couple of days ago that you can change the distance and angle your camera sits at. Zooming out a bit makes it MUCH easier to keep an eye on a mid-height floating ball and see what's on the ground, too. A real game changer, to me anyway.

Hm, a free shooter for PS4? I'm pretty mediocre at battlefield type shooters (much, much better at CoD), but I'd be down to play it when it's officially out if any other folks are.

If you have a favored poke you'd like to have early, I have plenty of level 1's with good IVs available due to all the breeding I do. I don't have my FC on me, but let me know if you're interested and I will grab it when I get home.

Kind of hard to cook while wearing a giant claw, maybe?

You probably already know this, but you can kind of cheaply get the meat boy and bandage girl thing. It involves having infinite space bar item uses (usually involving sharp plug shenanigans) and then spamming the monster manual until you get the desired result.

I very distinctly get the feeling that it's written by Baxter and kind of executive produced by Pratchett. The Long Mars and Long Utopia don't have anywhere near the typical Pratchett wit or humor. My guess is that it's more like Neal Stephenson's collaboration Mongoliad books, where the writing style is so very, very

The Wasabi Ginger is available as a normal thing, at least in NY and NJ right now.

I stumbled into that book without knowing it was a series, so I was a fair bit confused. I actually just finished the next book as well and I feel like I really WANT to like the books because of how interesting the concept is, but I really don't like how half the book is about how grumpy its heroes are. Also, I

I think his books in general are written with a very particular style. When I think back on them, I realize they're all super long winded and really boring, but I loved every second. I guess they'd be hard books for me to recommend.

Oh, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. My new job presumably won't give me as much time to BS around the AV club in general but I'll always try to be in this thread.

Yeah, not too much as far as AAA games. A bunch of indie games, of course, but those are mostly all cross platform anyway. Helldivers might be a good one - I've never played it.
