I really wonder what’s going on at Delta. They’ve been really aggressive about enforcing mask-wearing on their flights even to the point of permanently banning people from flying on their planes and now this. Tossing Karen off the flight is one thing but an upgrade and a “Black Lives Matter” Delta pin? I’m stunned. If

Why backhand the airline, when they did the right thing? Also, that seat does have a cost and they just booted a paying customer. If we’re going to drag companies through the mud for doing the right thing, then they never will.

This x100.

I’m gonna have to agree about the wheels.  It’s too big and flush and makes the car look all wrong

That’s actually a significant weight reduction from the original, in addition to a BIG power bump.

I’m a sucker for restomods when the body is reworked a bit to refine the lines and dramatic elements are teased out. If I were mega wealthy I would spend my days modernizing a variety of cars. So much unlocked potential exists in old cars.

Real and touched up in photoshop by an expert.

I’m with you on the render. The shadows are too crisp. A multi light setup, and only one cast shadow under the car?

One of the most beautiful car designs ever.

Totally. Color me completely unsurprised and uninspired. I don’t need Barack to be Malcolm X, but his words seem to say, “Black Lives Matter,” while his actions speak, “All Lives Matter.” BLEH.

This ought to show people exactly what Barrack is all about and who he represents. This wasn’t a mistake on his part, it was on brand.

Welp, that was probably the shortest-lived revolution and protest on record.

Indeed. When I was stationed in Germany, there were 300C wagons everywhere. Tuners started adding twin turbos to the standard 3.0L Mercedes diesel and were tearing up that autobahn. I was very jealous of them. You could technically make your own if you bought a magnum and a 300C from that era and put them together.

If they jacked it up a few inches, made it a station wagon, but called it an SUV, they might move a few more.

The local highway patrol had a black Magnum. It always struck me as perfect and menacing.   They must of used it for 10 years.

It always baffled me that Europe got an actual 300 SRT wagon... and they never offered it in the US.

I still care about your fuchs mate ...

Nice.

I think it’s already lighter than the Cabriolet (by maybe 150 lbs). But I do like the idea of a stripped-down version (RWD of course) with a removable rear window along with the roof section.

I own a classic one, and I wish it was a power top. Most specifically for quick drives, it takes a minute or to for the roof off-roof on part to occur, so for like a 5 minute trip it isn’t always worth it. Also sucks if the top is dusty; it isn’t a clean process.
