HD springing for a new scooter every couple of months for you and having you write about it, even if it’s sometimes not very flattering is probably one of the best decisions they ever made. Keep up the good work, Bradley.

It’s the most exciting bike I’ve ever ridden, if I’m being honest. It’s just so fun. Might go ride it this afternoon if the weather cooperates.

I would guess the venn diagram for Harley Street Glide and BMW K1600 GT buyers is two completely separate circles.

It’s funny, everyone who hasn’t ridden a big Harley doesn’t get why folks love them. Then they ride them and they love it.

Flashing my lights has helped a few times. One time I did it to a cop car and they immediately turned on their headlights. LOL.

That is a good idea and I can see that is where we are heading.  I know Cadillac used to have a chime reminder for people when they left their signal on for more than a mile.  Maybe an idiot chime would work for people who don’t turn their lights on.

Good idea. The company Gogoro has run this in Taiwan for a few years now. You can swap out your battery at 7-11 and other convenience shops. Pretty cool idea (for scooters).

many good ideas and for me the performance/range would be plenty to ride around town, but I rather lease or rent the battery if possible, could help with the extremely steep upfront cost and have the option to upgrade or get a new battery in the future

And your boat’s too damn big too!

I think some of the height is due to the “flat floor” trend in new trucks. It shifts the body upward to avoid a hump in the passenger area.

I think a lot of the height is because trucks went to a “flat floor” concept which makes the interior space SUPER convenient with no hump for the drive shaft, but obviously the body has to be mounted hire to accomodate that.

The bigger the truck, the smaller the you-know-what. And as a gay dude from Maine I can assure you it is true from personal observation.

Greater suspension capability requires beefier parts, which increases the size of the chassis upon which the body sits.

The explosion of the lift the already huge truck to make it huger just shows how angry and insecure some Americans are.

Not sure how this hasn’t been posted yet.

You deserve it.

To be fair that Silverado has a suspension lift. This is my brother’s stock height 3500. Still enormous in person though. He actually uses it to tow big things.

Here’s hoping that going electric can decrease size and improve packaging, while also sufficiently maintaining hauling/towing/passenger space/tech/safety/off-road/penis-size bragging rights.

If if you really want a comparison that speaks volumes, look at a brand new truck next to one from even as recently as 15 years ago.
