Barney to Lisa: “Go back to Russia!”

Regarding TDKR, I’m sure I am in the minority, but I have always thought that Nolan’s decision to make the Lazarus Pits (which is a really crazy comics idea) into more of a metaphorical Lazarus prison was absolutely brilliant. That sequence I thought was one of the best parts of the movie.

He was confirmed in an interview to have been captured by Jadis for the helicopter people. He will likely show up in the TV movies they are planning to do.

This was a perfectly fine episode. If the show stays like this it will be a perfectly fine season, which would be better than the last few seasons and about as good as you can hope for for a show on season 9 and well past its prime.

What I like about post-credit scenes is that they are an opportunity to tease the next film (or films) without interfering with the original. You can have a complete film with an ending and without extraneous plot threads, and then outside of that set up the next thing. When you try to set up new movies within the

Heimdall I think was an interesting case of unfortunate timing for Elba the actor, because in 2010 he was pretty well known but not super famous, so he signs a contract for a supporting role in a potential franchise. But by the time Thor comes out he is a much bigger and bankable star- to the point where he could be

I’m interested in what is happening with Eugene only because I was actually surprised that he really did betray Rick’s group and become a Savior, considering how he is a “fan favorite” character and comic relief (or at least the writers think he is). I’ve been wondering if he will stay bad guy until the end (which

I do wonder if part of the reason of killing him is that if they followed the comics going forward Carl would have had a much larger role- to the point where he is basically the protagonist of the story- and the writers just didn’t feel like he could handle it as an actor. It’s obviously not a reason you would say out

RIP. I saw Moonstruck for the first time just yesterday, thought he was great in it, looked him up thinking he’d be in his later 80s by now and was actually happy he was only 77 and appeared to still be working. So strange to think that while I was doing that he was dying in hospice. But he gave us some great

I assume Franco would have had the 5th spot but the allegations stopped just enough people from voting for him that the 6th place person, Denzel, sneaked in.

So if the Oscars were up to you this year, which films would you nominate? As a layman I only really notice “obvious” cinematography, and I’d be interested to know of some 2017 films I wouldn’t realize had great cinematography.

Interesting trivia- Michael J. Harney has a nomination as part of the Orange is the New Black ensemble despite never actually appearing the entire season. For some reason he was still credited for all the episodes so I guess according to SAG rules he still gets nominated.

Or have him required to be within 50 feet of Paul Dini at all times.

RIP. When your nickname is “Fats” and you make it to 89, you’ve done pretty well.

Coming to Netflix in 2018:

“No, I Won’t Believe It” I can picture exactly how that would sound in Hutz/Hartman’s voice.

That intrigued me as well. Clearly, he is fated to die doing something important. I assumed it would happen in this episode. I wonder if he will be in the next episode or not until season 8.

I say yes its the last of her. This season is all about taking pieces off the board not necessary to the grand finale, and Meera's story is done. I think we can put her and Hot Pie on a list of characters who received an "end" to their story that wasn't death.

I love Bronn but it was his time to go. A very fitting end for him. I'm a little concerned that the writers had him live because he is a "popular" character.

My two cents: the finale was great, but season 6 as a whole was disappointing. The writers made one very big mistake in that they were clearly more interested in the Sideways universe stories than what was happening on the actual island, while the audience was rightly much more interested in the island stories
