That always bugged me with the later seasons, there would be actual series regulars who made it less than half a season before dying/disappearing. My first thought was that MacLeish got shot. Would really mess up the bad guys plan if their supposed to be president got killed. Plus he had that moment of doubt which in TV world often means the character is dying.

It seemed to me that it wasn't that Rosita missed the shot, just that Negan happened to move the bat directly in front of his head just in time. Its an incredible coincidence and still bad writing, but I prefer that to Rosita just randomly missing.

The problems is because the writers want Negan to be a character for multiple seasons. The rest of the show, really. This whole conflict should take one season total, with Negan defeated (and probably dying) in the finale. The were both the villains from issue 2 of the original Spider Man comic. So it actually makes sense for them both to be in the same movie.

He's not evil. He just has a certain viewpoint about the inmates that he thinks is true, but we know is not because we've been spending the past four seasons getting to know them. I suspect that if he does come back we will learn more about why he believes what he believes.

I feel that, like the author wrote, The Road Warrior is both the better and more influential movie. Most of what people think of when they think of Mad Max comes from that one.

I agree with this. Compared to some of the other characters in this show, Qyburn's not really evil, just very morally grey. And I don't think Qyburn wanted Pycelle dead, I took it as Cersei wanting an extra special death for him.
