I saw the preview screening as well as the final cut and both versions kind of ended flat for me. The reason was that two characters who you grew attached to throughout the film, Keaton-Bruce and Kara, are punted out of the movie and never spoken about again. There’s no catharsis when their universe is destroyed and…
Best part of this show was Olivia Coleman. It’s not even a contest
Why did you say they have crossed over for the first time in the tagline?
It wasn’t always like that. Annalee and Charlie-Jane, the founders, were bona-fide sci-fi and fantasy scholars. I used Annalee’s book on anti-capitalist horror extensively in my own doctoral thesis.
Oh absolutely. The Craig bond films have insisted a lot on the 007 logo in their marketing - they integrated it in the title design of each movie since Casino Royale, and sometimes add it to the old movies for rerelease. I say capitalize on that and have both 007 and 008 (or whatever other number they want) movies.…
Paramount UK and Ireland trailer , as the official one is Geoblocked .
“And it appears that once again, bullying works.”
This confused me. Is it a sarcastic line, as the bullying from the giant, powerful, billion-dollar company didn’t work? Or were you saying the criticism by Gilroy’s colleagues was bullying and that it worked? Really hope it’s the former!
Good that he’s standing with the writers for a fairer deal. The heartbreaking thing is that Andor is so, so good, and that is clearly the result of great effort on his part and everyone else working on it. I think it’s a masterpiece, frankly. The idea that a strike could end up disrupting the quality of season 2 would…
There was a couple of interesting ideas there, but honestly S2 felt like I was watching a bunch of scenes in isolation that were roughly edited together to make it work as a story
I didn’t even realize people hated steak fries until I read this.

1. Make a mental note where the portal is. I spent a good bit of time trying to find it before taking more of a note where I came into the stage at.
Thank you for not making this a slideshow - and on an unrelated side note (well, brought on by the reminder from the phrasing), happy Thanksgiving Kotaku.
weird. what I don’t like is thinking I’m at one price and all of a sudden at the end of a purchase huge fees are tacked on and im well over what I thought I was paying. Your experience was interesting to read about- I clearly am the outlier!
frankly I’d far prefer to have those costs built in to the menu than expect it at the end of the service. but maybe thats just me
It’s not that I even dislike open world games, but so many of them do absolutely nothing to justify the use of an open world. The vast majority of these games could have a world 25-50% smaller and it wouldn’t negatively impact gameplay in any meaningful way. It’s one of the worst tendencies of the “more is better”…
However unpopular this opinion is, I care not. Ketchup does not belong on a meatloaf served for dinner; it’s too sweet. I like my meatloaf savory, with an not-too-thick, umami-rich gravy. Ketchup is for sandwiches, if at all.
While I don’t have a dog in this fight, I drink tea and avoid IOT appliances because of the security risks and also not wanting dozens of appliances on my counter. There is one group who actually could benefit from these devices, people who are disabled or have limited mobility. Many of these things are not needed by…
Thanks, I hate it.
