How many customers looking to drop over $80,000 on a luxury truck does Rivian think they will lose because of a $7,500 tax credit? They probably could have started their vehicles at $90,000 without any of their buyers batting an eye. If Rivian offered a more basic trim that started closer to $60,000 they’d be selling…

I realize that the old Sequoia had abysmal fuel economy, so compared to that this new one is quite a bit better. But considering this one is a hybrid the numbers don’t seem all that impressive. I guess when you get to this size class of vehicle there just isn’t much to be gained from going hybrid.
