Tell that to the poor person who’s late to work and get fired or has to leave their kids 2 hours early to get to work due to traffic. Valuing time based on wealth is also unfair.
Except encouraging poor people to drive actually is a huge disservice, considering cars are a huge debt burden and have massive externalities like pollution, time waste in traffic, etc. It should not be subsidized.

A lot weight-based vehicle miles traveled VMT tax is the fairest way to tax vehicles. Tolls aren’t needed.

Other companies have workers who are just as good of people as T*. If not better. And they work for better bosses.
The gas tax hasn’t been raised since the early 90s. Hybrids getting 40-50mpg pay substantially less than traditional gas cars. I hear no one ever ask those to pay more.
