I have a non-Tesla EV and it’s fucking fantastic. I gave no $ to Elon or Exxon.
PHEVs won’t get us any closer to zero emissions because many (most?) drivers don’t plug them in frequently enough to drive in EV mode all the time.
Want to reduce carbon emissions? Eliminate the dozens of daily flights from LAX, BUR, ONT, SNA to LAS and put people on fast trains.

I lived in SF for years. Noe St. Eureka St. 10th St. Left, partly, because of the shit and needles. Got sick of spending thousands per month for the privilege with zero prospect of homeownership.
