A new oppo? I dont know what that is... so probably not.

I thought C40 Recharge, due to the raked rear window look. Still, same car.

China has faults, for sure. The US has its own history to contend with.

2nd: If Mexico is so concerned, perhaps the auto plants should unionize. Would they qualify then?

Ah, I test drove the XC40 Recharge too - forgot about it (maybe that says something?)

I replied to you in my other post, but I am also in Boston.

I’ve been eyeing the P2 for the wife’s CR-V replacement. How has it been? Any complaints?

Everytime I drive my Polestar 2, I smile. It is one good car.

I liked the look of the early 90s generation.  After that I thought it looked too bulbous.

I see an Altima nowadays

When something has <200 miles range, we see auto journalists poo poo it.

Ok NIMBY. Those parking lots represent a lot more than just the asphalt. All the infrastructure that goes with it (may) far outweigh a thoughtful building in its place. Say an apartment building with a ground floor cafe and convenience store, immediately eliminating several trips per month for many of its residents.

The rate of change is too slow.

Where you live (and where most others do too), there is both a failure of policy to mix uses and fund public transit. That’s exactly what I wrote.

So you’re saying it’s about 10% - 20%?

It’s illegal to build non-auto-dependent, with zoning, minimum parking requirements, etc.

public transportation does not exist, and cannot exist

People have short memories. As soon as it went down, sales of guzzling CUVs/SUVs shot up.

The 2 is most definitely NOT an SUV. It’s a slightly lifted hatchback.  No one would ever confuse my 2 with an SUV or CUV.

IMO it should’ve been hybrid only. Don’t even put a HYBRID badge on it at this point. Just put a 45 mpg sticker on it and be done.
