EVs are perfectly suited to most commutes… most commutes are 5-10 miles each way. A modern can do that multiple times per week without needing to be plugged in.
AWD more powerful ID.4 is not $20k less. More like $10-13k. And the ID.4 feels every bit like a $10k cheaper vehicle.

Glad you focused on the hybrid intro in the latest gen. That is the revolutionary aspect of the 2020s - electrification going mainstream (hybrid +) and autonomous tech taking over (blind spot, adaptive cruise, etc.).
