It’s been a while since anything but the B7 was sold new in the States.

“I got it on tape!”

You are thinking of the Tu-160 Blackjack.

In before the Chinese create this dude:

That’s probably true if a person is willing to be patient.

Iraqi army regulars and Republican Guard stole a bunch of civilian Kuwaiti vehicles, loaded them up with everything they looted from Kuwait, and “retreated” to Iraq with a lot of main battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.

Congress needs to take a field trip there so we can freeze off the warts of society.

That looks like Lando piloting the Millennium Falcon into the Death Star 2.0's core.

They aren’t made by Recaro. Just sport seats. Find seats from a part-out or re-upholster yourself with one of the leather kits out there.

Drive an E30iC that’s been refurbished with new rubber bushings, suspension, etc. Still flexy and heavy compared to the i and ix, but nothing crappy. I’ve never had shudder around turns before or after refurbishing my entire suspension.

I had a quality BMW shop and Pro3 builder do my G260 swap. The transmission, new clutch/flywheel, short throw shifter, bushings, and other misc parts and items cost less than $2500 including labor. A $5k manual example will have a used clutch/flywheel and who knows what shape the transmission is really in, what else

A pre-purchase inspection works wonders to find lies, omissions, or things the owner just might now know about. Then you know what it can cost to get to a condition you want.

Apples to oranges. 4 cyl E36 vs 6 cyl E30.

Most of the parts for E30's aren’t any more expensive than my 89 Corolla. Power steering rack isn’t too expensive and E36 M3 racks are great improvements. Coolant level sensor is cheap and easy to replace. G260 transmission swaps are commonplace. You don’t have to offer when the seller asks either. 25+ year old cars

This car looks like a nice choice for someone who doesn’t mind fixing up a few things. The price is good, the body appears solid, it’s a good candidate for an E36 M3 steering rack, and a G260 manual swap would be excellent. The odometer can be fixed with new gears. Coolant level sensor is quick and cheap to replace.

Fire the detailer. Look at those rotary buffer holograms!

The sad thing is it’s easier to get dealers and manufacturers to cover warranty work than it is to get health insurance to cover health issues.
