Oh no, I’m not trying to fool anyone - Alfa’s aren’t reliable. Never have been, likely never will be.

Unpopular opinion:
there are a ton of us. more and more every day.
Potentially unpopular opinion: Put huge tariffs on their cars or give them the “chicken tax” treatment. China itself puts massive tariffs on our exports, cars included. So its only fair to do the same. I will fully admit I am a hypocrite seeing as how I buy a lot of Chinese made things, which these days is unavoidable…
China’s basically the epitome of “copy my homework but change the answers a bit”. Not saying there’s no original ideas over there, but when you have the source code, it’s pretty easy to duplicate and make it your own. Couple that with owning lithium mines and vast amount of lower classed workers that get paid dismal…
I want an EV. I do not want to enrich Elon “Trust Fund Baby” Musk. So no Teslas on my radar, that’s for certain. I can’t imagine I’m alone in that. That could present a real problem for Tesla if I’m anything but a small minority of buyers.
Are all the writers getting paid to say it looks great?
I’m not sure it looks great. It certainly isn’t ugly, but it is bland. It somehow reminds me of the anonymity of the NMS Passat. Honestly, I prefer the 10th gen. While the 10th gen has some oddities to it, it as a bit of commitment to something more than blandness.
A garage.
A Garage. No scraping ice and brushing off snow, frozen wipers, waiting for warmup, slipping when getting in or out, etc.
Heated seats. I’m never going back to a vehicle without them. New ride has a heated steering wheel as well, it’s niiiiiice.
Why is Reliable a key metric here?
Get the Si. You’re going to want the kids driving something that slow, but feels pretty quick. Plus, the Si has a cool factor to it, so your kids will be proud to drive it around (unlike the Kia).
My wife and i are actually talking about buying this exact van. We camp a lot and we have a small trailer but towing is a pain in the ass. Im sure its a socio-economical class sort of t hing but we know 3 couples that have sprinters and use them all the time. The place i just camped last weekend in the Utah desert was…
I have said the same thing before. While dealerships suck in general, once you get to a certain size you need some kind of “dealership” type location, even if your not doing direct sales there. Not only that a lot of people want to test drive a potential car to see how they like it, and that’s not something you can…
He’s the richest depending on day. That’s more important than you’ll ever know.
Liberals worldwide mostly own EVs currently by a huge margin. (About 50% of Twitter?)
I don’t have a problem with that. But the people living in the northern third of (Sumter, Alabama) county aren’t so lucky. The county government installed sewer lines in that area about three years ago - without the citizen’s input - and the residents are already complaining about the high costs and lack of…
