I think it would be tough. They already announced 2023 pricing, it would be viewed as just a cash grab if they changed it.
In my reading of the bill, Kia/Hyundai and other cars built overseas will qualify for a reduced rebate due to not being built in North America. More details will trickle out if this thing passes Sinema’s desk
I think this is a good thing overall. I bought a 22 Bolt EUV this year, which means that I won’t be getting the $7500 as the bill currently reads. But Chevy did cut off 6300 off MSRP, so its nearly a wash. Would I have loved to have both? Sure, but I’m happy with the car for the price I paid.
Thank you for saying this. This is exactly what’s happening. Note: no manufacturing jobs were eliminated.
I don’t fit in a polestar at 6'5" so that was more of a “im not comfortable” score. Loved the car, but the closes dealer to Chicago is in Detroit, so its a non starter.
well said.
Nah. Boomers and older run the county. Check out congress and C-suite execs. All old people.
Neutral: I used to work for Tesla. So I’ve driven all of those. I like them, but wouldn’t buy one. They just don’t do it for me on the styling front. Also Elon sucks as a boss and human being.
From what I can tell, he’s a lot more grounded than Elon. Although having a billion dollars tends to change people.
If this is you, I feel for you man. Same stuff happened with Tesla back in the day when I worked there. I knew when they went public this stuff would happen. It’s all about the shareholders now.
The Japanese are falling so far behind. Their culture of focusing on reliability above all else has made them completely stagnant. When you have to ask GM to make your future cars for you, you know you done F’d up.
Agreed. This isnt a looker like a CX5, but its not bad actually. The current gen model is horrendous looking.
This starts at 26k with full wireless android auto/car play, and a TON of standard features. An entry level Tesla Model 3 with similar range (260) is nearly double the price, with the same warranty.
Angels and Airwaves - The Adventure. Excellent road trip album that you can just play and listen to the whole thing. Great riffs, occasional Tom Delonge vocals only partially about aliens.

You’re an idiot dude. Drop the pipe and the propaganda. Source: ME who lived in Ukraine from 2016-2020.
By what metric?
Depending on whether they can charge at home or not (even on a 110v plug) a 2014-2015 Chevy Volt is a good pick! Super reliable, 100mpg average, and very comfortable
I think that saying “I have a Tesla” still resonates as cool with a lot of people, and until that dies (I think over the next few years) they will continue to sell.
