Yeah that sucks. My local Hyundai dealer in town is building a standalone Genesis dealer, so hopefully they can inject a little bit of lexus customer service into their ecosystem.

Just an FYI. Midway parking (short and long term) have chargers, so you could charge up.

7500 in taxes is roughly an 68k income (filing as single) . Shouldn’t be buying a $40,000+ EV with less income than that as a household.

I mean Lambos have them...So its definitely cool

Get a chevy volt. Insanely good cars for the value. I average 123 mpg

Chevy volt. Best college car ever. Tons of space, lots of free charging on college campuses. Super reliable.

You are exactly right. Supply issues.

Fuel prices will inevitably lead to increased freight costs, and therefore higher costs for the end consumers. However, I have a feeling that this will somehow be leveraged for price gouging as revealed last week by the guardian article:

Its a decent car, but from a brz to this the guy would likely want to die of boredom.

100%. I worked for Tesla when they launched the Model S. I was an office worker that went to the factory on weekends to install plastic brightwork appliques. Its not rocket science. I don’t think its a great practice, but that’s what happens in a startup environment.

Meh. Its well known that he was an eccentric crank. It was part of his M.O.

What happens is that shift leaders from one race/ethnicity, e.g. Vietnamese, vacuums up all of the native Vietnamese speakers (which makes sense). Then this happens for the Spanish

related to the late great chris farley as well.

Sounds very sensible.

This happened to me even when I HAD my own financing through a credit union. I told them they are not to run my credit for any reason, but armed with my social they ran it 8 times anyways. I’m sure they get a kickback somehow.

100% - so many free L2 chargers as well if you can’t charge at home. EVs are perfect delivery mobiles.

Just make sure you don’t get one of the earlier ones without the reinforced pillars, otherwise you’ll die in an offset collision.

Used prices (cars and motorcycles) are very different in the UK vs USA. Mostly due to things not rusting in half of the country

Made me laugh

It really does depend on the system. The haldex system in my Mazdaspeed 6 with an LSD was amazing. The one in my ford escape didn’t do a damn thing when I got stuck in the snow.
