I just thought the premise of the aliens not expecting analog targeting from an old Iowa class was brilliant. I did not expect it. And the power from a battery of old 16 inch guns is awe inspiring and completely believable.

Funny. I just watched the movie Battleship last night because my wife hadn't seen it. And there's a great tour of the Missouri on the Bluray disc.

That was a blown iron block Hemi, probably on alcohol. A pretty reliable 2000 hp back in the day. I would think a little imagination regarding the tipping point, and you might be able to do it with less today.....
