If you could keep oil and coolant in it. And the rear suspension from clunking a hole in your brain.

Along with the mid engine reseal. 

Only after it’s had $3500 worth of mid engine reseal, headgaskets, and another $1500 worth of rear knuckles.

Which makes it all the more impressive.

Mr Tracy. I have that exact van with a 2.5 turbo automatic out behind my house in Grand Rapids. I’ve been dding it in the winter for 15 years.

I own that exact van, color, year, wheel covers, took out the center seat, but with a 2.5 turbo and automatic. It’s out behind my house.

There are few better examples of that than this car.

If you mean ‘share archetecture’ you mean rear suspension geometry, then I do agree.

I do know that running a two stroke lean will create a bunch more heat, but simply running it out of gas does nothing detrimental.
