Even this, low 6's in '87, with a turbo 4.....

That is a so, sooo sad story.

200+ hp and 395 pounds, and a v-twin?

No imagination?

Yeh, I know. It's one of those time suckers so not so many expensive parts are trashed with the trucks. It's a jet engine with a seat and a fuel supply.

707 HP is an absurd palindrome of a number. I also drove the SRT 392 version of the charger, which makes a very healthy 485HP, and it was intensely fast. By any rational standard, that would be the insanely quick version — but, of course, it's not. Having a family sedan with 707 HP on tap is sort of like having a

oops....meant grey water......

The Ram Runner Mopar parts package destroys a Raptor off road.

wut?

'On Wings of Eagles' is a book documenting Ross Perot's rescue of his people in EDS from Iran right after the revolution. They were there hired to set up a new national welfare and census system using EDS hardware and software.

Yep. This.

It does take a bit of rev matching to downshift more than one gear during each clutch draw. ie sometimes a bit of clutch drag helps to downshift more than one gear at a time, so if you're in 5th or 6th, to get to 1st, you may have to feather the clutch a few times, and with that, a bit of throttle.

KTM Xbow.

Err. Tyler, correct me if I'm wrong, but this happens A LOT with Tornadoes in Europe.

Ok, I'll buy the 'I don't like muscle cars in general' theme. Singling out the Challanger for that is like saying I don't like Jenifer Aniston because don't like women in general.

Lots of people race on the street. Every day. Just because we say 'you're an idiot to do it' doesn't magically make it not happen. 'Street Cred' sounds lots better than 'Strip Cred.'

Everything else? Top speed, design, interior, the ability to cater to three passengers in comfort.....?

Kinda my point.
