My favourite FPS of the year was definitely Wolfenstein: The New Order. Brilliant hark back to the 90s era of FPS with over the top violence and focus on 'run and gun'. Also had a surprisingly solid story and brilliant visuals which definitely made it a must have.

I blame Oprah for two of TV's biggest quacks and charlatans: Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz.

Good for him. He made a fun game, he didn't rip anyone off. He's earned his money.

As a reminder to all first amendment apologists: Valve is not a government entity and is allowed to enforce their own restrictions on the content they distribute.

For all those asking, yes, I can increase the speed of the mouse. I even did that for a little while, since I can do it on the fly on my mionix. but constantly juggling it as i switched between programs (I'd need it for strategy games but it was too fast for FPS) just became a hassle.

Vandy athletics managed to squash an article I was trying to right about some potential (though accidental) fraud on the track team.

I wish every single pundit/politician on earth lived in fear of their mom calling them publicly on their shit.

Jesus Christ, she was being fucking nice. Her asshole friend assumed they were doing something wrong, when really they were just trying to go do something fun and couldn't afford it. She assumed that there was more to the story than them being "up to no good," went and asked - a novel concept, I know - and was right.

The tone and delivery of this article is confusing. What she did was...wrong? Because it was...paternalistic? Or because she asked people to not judge others based on race? Not being sarcastic here, just deeply confused by the mobius strip that is Gawker racial politics.

People with uncontrollably horny dogs?

GOD CREATED ADAM AND EVE NOT fWAR AND OBP!

Isn't it weird that the same group of people who want to talk about how the Evil Government's Agenda 23 is Obama using Ebola to declare Martial Law to steal your guns & arrest you under Sharia law are also the same group of people who unreservedly believe & defend the authorities when they use military firepower

I mean, maybe they are technically, but this is always a crummy move on the part of video game companies that very rarely makes much sense.

A bookcase full of Bret Easton Ellis and Chuck Palaniuk

Yes, and you've justified Ubisoft's actions, which in turn hurt customers who actually paid for the game.

Need more open-world games that don't revolve killing everything.
AKA I want Shenmue 3.

Do you guys remember all of the game breaking glitches from super mario bros or need for speed most wanted? Me neither, because developers weren't able to just "patch" games like they can now.
