Now that my beloved Lizardman has been downgrated to a lowly create-a-soul option, I’m on the hunt for a new main. Kilik? Yoshimitsu? Zasalamel?

I was a Lei/Julia/Zafina character in Tekken, and then Tekken 7 came out. Now it’s happening all over again. Why do you keep punishing me for playing your niche characters,

I am a hardcore Mega Man fan, but my recent playthrough of Hollow Knight and my recent 3rd (4th?) playthrough of Shovel Knight has me feeling the same way. I’m still enjoying it, but I hope that it’s successful enough to warrant a braver, more experimental sequel.

Like, would the world melt if the next MMX game was a

Pharah is pretty much the only reason I still play Overwatch. I’ll hop in for a casual hour of flyin’ and rocketin’ and now that’s going to be significantly less fun.

Dang. I’m tempted. I normally only buy gunpla, not figures, but I love this character and the figure looks great.

In other news, ten games where you can shoot people in the head were released yesterday in almost all regions.

Jesus, we live in a Twilight Zone episode.
“The World of Backwards Censorship.”

Haha, that’s perfect.

I wish it had been Tom Nook. It’s utterly strange that Nintendo’s most iconic, hateful, evil villain is not playable.

That line about tourists bringing money and archaeologists just taking is pretty inaccurate, ESPECIALLY in the Yucatan region of Mexico.

Tourists bring dollars, but they also break off souvenirs. They create graffiti and litter and degrade the site over time. The only good thing about tourists visiting these ruins is

Just curious, which “last boss” are you referring to? The first one is pretty easy and definitely worth beating. The “Final” final boss is another matter...

Looks like he’s got similar metal skin abilities as Urien, so maybe he’s tied into Gill’s Illuminati as well? I like his long, skinny Lincoln legs and Rugal-ish kicks. Definitely intrigued by this character.

Hollow Knight is one of my favorite games, but I hated this section. I agree with you that it felt like a totally different game. If the section had included some interesting NPCs or more emphasis on exploring to break up the masochistic platforming, I’d have been able to stomach it.

I remember groaning audibly during

I saw this performed at the Video Games Live concert back in 2010-ish. Just stunning.

MMX and MMX2 both belong in the highest tier of 2D platformers. They’re excellent. I think that X2 has the better bosses though: Wheel Gator ambushing you from the water, Overdrive Ostrich’s inventive wide open boss arena, and Morph Moth’s cocoon stage are all creative and fun.

Any of you SMT heads want more Devil Summoner games, or is it just me? I thought Raidou and his pre-WW2 Japan setting were really interesting.

You call it “melting figure,” I call it “dynamic posing.”

Hollow Knight is an appropriate game to include as the header image. Hornet (1 and 2) was one of the easiest boss fights for me, though apparently she gives people a lot of trouble. The Watcher Knights and Soul Master wrecked me.

I love it.

Defenders sucked.
