i'd still fight ryan murphy if i saw him tho

I genuinely can't think of a show currently on The CW that ISN'T critically acclaimed. I mean, imo, none of the superhero shows are especially good (despite the fact that I watch almost all of them), but none are BAD either, and even though I think Riverdale is bland, badly acted garbage, critics seem to love it.

It still depends if she's encouraging them to watch gems like Feud and ACS, or if she's more geared towards Glee and Scream Queens. When Ryan has the limits of reality and actual events, he tends to rise to the occasion.

Kevin James DOES need a new wife lined up for season 3 of Kevin Can Wait.

I agree with you - but I think a lot of people have been solely thinking about Feud and American Crime Story, as opposed to his more unsavory tendencies. That being said, she did take more time to rep Insecure and Queen Sugar than she did Ryan Murphy, so I wouldn't say that's the case with her - though that is what

It was! I mean, I liked the pilot, and everything that came after didn't compare (the refusal to kill off any significant characters really grinded my gears) but Niecy Nash and Glen Powell gave two of the funniest comedic performances I've ever seen. Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, and Nasim

I actually enjoyed the pilot of Scream Queens for what it was - guilty pleasure trash. That being said, every episode afterwards got progressively worse and worse (with the exception of one of two episodes that got A's or B's from the AV Club that weren't entirely unearned), and of you thought season one was bad…

I've seen almost every episode of Glee - I don't know why I watched as much as I did, even if I couldn't make it through much of season 5 - and I genuinely don't think I've ever had a relationship with any show like the one I had with Glee. The first season wasn't perfect, but it was smart, well-acted, and managed to

The first season has it's moments, and most of the performances are pretty spectacular, but it's a little too full of himself. It's like you can tell Ryan Murphy thought he was revitalizing television. Asylum has some of those same issues, especially near the beginning - but Sarah Paulson gives hands down the best

American Horror Story has had some bright spots too (mostly during Asylum) and Feud was genuinely good. Everything but Scream Queens has had at least one good season. The guy has flashes of brilliance, just no grasp on continuity or longevity.

Yeah, I'm not saying she had some great loss creatively, but from what I can see the only other steady gig she's had was Children's Hospital. KCW had to have paid better than that, plus getting sacked as unceremoniously as this is never going to feel good.

As hard as it must be to play Kevin James' wife, I genuinely feel bad for this actress. She seemed really supportive of the show on twitter up until like, a day before she was announced to be getting fired. She seemed completely taken back, didn't seem to see it coming at all. Now she's out of a job just so King of

The fact that AV Club has really doubled down on being a website that ONLY reviews decent-to-fantastic, at least moderately popular shows and they devoted so much time to this is so upsetting.

Jane is, without a doubt, the best part of Jane the Virgin.

The Belko Experiment would have been so much more fun if everyone's hands were exploding instead of their heads.

Yet they still have room for 2 reviews and 17 thinkpieces about GoT every week.

Do you recommend the show, though?

Hey AV Club, remember how Dear White People was getting consistently good reviews and was, altogether, an interesting and compelling show to write and read about? And you reviewed it every once in a while then stopped reviewing it after one of the best episodes of the season? And you've consistently reviewed this show?

Yeah, I think I visit AV Club too often because based on this review and then I saw that it's getting basically the same kinda reviews that the first seasons of tons of highly regarded shows get, like Veep and Breaking Bad.

Netflix's rough patch seems to be painfully consistent.
