For anyone out there who may only know of Sissy Spacek from The Help, Castle Rock or the new movie with Robert Redford, Coal Miner’s Daughter is a pretty good movie. The Academy Awards thought she was a very, very good actress in the lead role:

A question about your comment: I also went through OCS in Newport. I did that a long, long time ago. There were no aviators there because they all went to aviation OCS in Pensacola. Is aviation OCS not a thing anymore? Is there only one OCS now? Ship drivers, aviators, supply officers, nukes all in one place?
