I saw Anything Goes at a matinee a few years ago. There were lots of school-age kids there—at least 150. After watching the show (video excerpt below), there must have been at least one student who decided, “I know what I’m doing with my life now!”

Although, whoever is “working” with Blythe Danner deserves every accolade imaginable. She looks amazing.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is much more the exception. His wife, director Sam Taylor-Johnson, is 23 years older than him.

Supergirl is getting a lot of media. The production values are OK but the writing and characterizations are for kids. I doubt the show will last a year.

There is a long conversation in the show between two women about that exact topic. One of them is a newspaper editor who decides the super hero should be called “Super Girl” even though she is an adult.

The pilot is complete fluff. The writing is an inch deep. The series might become popular with tweens but there is nothing that would keep an adult entertained unless they are just lusting after one of the characters.
