Her character in the film is brilliant. Her intelligence is a plot point in itself and develops one of the significant subplots of the movie. Also, compared with her brother, it is the subject of at least one funny line in the movie.

Many of today's "singers" have a manufactured image that has very little to do with their vocal ability. Very sad, because when you listen to the music it is instantly forgettable.

Just saw Catching Fire this afternoon. I was ready to be entertained but it was actually much better than I was hoping.

I was very glad the movie did not end in any way that echoed this:
