No one ever says that Cersei isn't a murderer. No one ever says that Cersei didn't torture those people. But there is something about her character that I get. Every single thing she does is out of desperation. Desperation for love, for her father's approval, for power, for her children's safety (which in the books is

Because he's a twisted little shit who despite being a total psychopath still wants his father's approval as he overheard a drunken Robert say that it would be a mercy if Bran died.

What disturbs me is how many times I've read the term "grey sex" in the comments. You can't sorta rape a person. Either there is consent or there isn't.

All the show did was take a scene from another part of the book and turn it into Dany and Drogo's wedding night. In the books Dany clearly describes Drogo raping her from behind every single night while she silently cries. Which is exactly what is depicted in the scene.

Drogo may not have raped Dany on their wedding night, but he DID rape her.

It's a line said by an asshole character in order to illustrate what an asshole he is.

No, he has a character say it. The character however is Randyll Tarly (Sam's asshole of a father) who is basically portrayed as your typical abuser: he is well respected and gives a good face to the world, but at home he beats and starves his kid for being fat and says that he would enjoy hunting him down and

Actually, only one person says that. And it is a part of his character.

People don't care that Drogo was a rapist until it is implied that he raped someone they care about. And then fans of the books cry out in anguish that the show is ruining the character. And yet, you would think fans of the book would remember that Drogo DID rape Dany. Repeatedly. In the exact same way as depicted on

I feel like I'm going to get tired of saying this but good god this is fucking ridiculous.

If by "the first time" you mean Drogo raping Dany, check again, it is in the books. No, it's not on their wedding night, but it happens precisely as it did on the show (him behind her with her crying silently).

On the scene between Dany and Drogo: I don't remember thinking it was their wedding night and even if it was, the inconsistency is in the timing, not the actual event.

Let's also not forget that Tyrion raped Tysha. But of course, most people do.

As awesome as the Purple Wedding was, I'd like to mention another aspect of the episode that pissed me off: the addition of the character Miranda and how much it fucks up with Ramsay as a character.

Women, eunuchs and Dornishmen actually.

Actually its women, eunuchs and Dornishmen.

I don't know if you are joking or not, but that isn't why it is called the Purple Wedding.

Not necessarily. Regency through Joffrey is much different as it would be through Tommen. For one thing, Joffrey was fourteen, so at best they would only be regent for two years. Tommen however is around eight (my memory is blanking), so his regent would have control for much longer.

You don't know half of it (spoilers ahead):

My mother's best friend swears up and down that I look just like Katie Holmes. I guess because I have a roundish face and my hair is naturally dark brown?
