Ahh. I must've missed that.

but why would the detective give two shits about their affair if it's Cole's brother? He's sure taking down a lot of inane info if it's in relation to some tertiary character's death.

Are you talking about when she said "we come together no matter what for weddings or funerals, we're family"? I think she was just speaking about how they still attend functions to show support.

This season is atrocious.

Right, like there weren't other jobs available. Come on. he had a clear choice, why in the world would you be sympathizing with him handing a fucking CHILD to a child molester when he could've shielded her from that monster? BENDER? Are you ok?

I didn't see Carrie use a condom when she raped the Pakistani boy-child last episode nor did they use one this episode, so what's the deal? Is Carrie trying to collect one terrorist baby per story arc? Why saddle her sister with another unwanted kid? LOL.

I'm guessing at least 2-3 years has passed since the affair. She would still have an infant with her while being questioned if it were within a year.

I thought Noah mentioned something about illegal stills or something relating to alcohol? It could be drugs too though…

It seems to me that the affair only lasted the summer, but that Noah keeps coming back on vacations basically(or that's what they want the detective to think, that the affair has been over for awhile). This would lead me to believe that Noah's wife doesn't know about the affair, and Cole does find out and left Alison

What is your opinion of my theory up top in my post to Ellen O'Neill, nknotz?

I don't think Gillian had ever told Jimmy the whole truth about Nucky. What he did to her in detail, his greatest crime, his greatest corruption that allowed him to become so rich and powerful, but I'm fairly certain she told Tommy EVERY DETAIL.

Darmody > Thompson

I loved this season's format. It seemed to make everything move in a parallel synced timeline towards a fated destiny of tragedy for all. I think you're right. It would've been amazing if they'd done that all this time.

Nucky(in my mind) the exact way they showed him corrupting a child and being completely complicit in destroying her as much as the Commodore, in fact more so, because he was given a choice, the Commodore was like Satan, do you want a life of riches and power then bring that innocent girl who's been abused for all her

This wasn't as satisfying as the rest of the season to me, mostly because I think they telegraphed the boy and allowed the audience to suppose who he might be fairly early into the season, but especially after Nucky went to visit Gillian and we see how much of a horrible person he chose to be and it all began with

That's true. You could be right.

I didn't see anything to indicate his grandfather being overly touchy-feely with him so Idk.

Absolutely this territory is well-worn in the noir genre, they are standard tropes, but I love that genre personally. I always have. I don't know if this will turn out to be noirish, but that's why I like her in Noah's version, because that's what I WANT her to be, another Amy Dunne, because Amy Dunne rawwks! ;P

Yes. So ok, I think I've figured it out. She's wearing black because she's just come from Cole's funeral in all her police interrogation scenes. Why do I think that? Because she was pregnant and had a child obviously, and I believe it was Noah's child or else the Lockhart family would still be involved with helping

Ok so wait, Alison needs a sitter, which means she's had another child right? Great catch! How did I miss this line? Based on this I've posted a theory higher up…
