My son my son, what have ye done was eerily similar to true detective but it kept getting weirder towards the end. Give it a watch!

He's a really great actor. I've loved many of his roles. Kevin from Sin City and Frodo from the LOTR trilogy were probably my favorite characters Elijah got to perform.

If Fincher could somehow go back to his Fight Club style of visuals/sfx/editing for the U.S. Utopia we'd all be pretty happy with the result even though we know the gist of what's going to happen because cool people(if you consider yourself cool anyway) have been watching the original already. I still consider Fight

It's good, but it does have it's flaws. I will say though that each season opener was a masterpiece in the UK Utopia. I think it will be interesting to watch in the same way that Hitchcock's Psycho and Van Sant's Psycho were interesting to watch. With that being said, though, reboots are just never very good, so it

There's just so much good media out there right now. I feel blessed to live in a time where there's almost too much to keep up with but I'm certainly not complaining!

I rank The Salvation among the top 5 revisionist westerns I've ever seen. Unforgiven, The Proposition, The Homesman, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, and The Salvation. It was riveting. Stomach-churning. Eva was a marvel as usual, the villain, the lead from magic city, I forget his name, was

There's no subtitles available for the Danish dialogue but it's minimal. The majority of the film is in English. I'm about half done. This is a grueling anti-western and it's just beautifully shot. Many of the scenes so far have made my stomach churn. It's very emotional underneath the dry dusty wailings of the wind

Hey, The Salvation is out online. SO EXCITED! Mads and Eva in the same film again! I'll let you know what I think. ;)

Why does AV Club keep saying "possibly" with Kyle MacLachlan? This couldn't be done without him. Bob trapped the real Dale Cooper inside the Black Lodge and left him there to enter our world as Dale Cooper's doppelganger. Clearly Kyle has said yes already or this would have never happened to begin with… lol.

I loved how they stayed focused on his face rather than panning around the room to all the people seated.

glad you decided to post marie! :)

They were both from the same planet of creamed corn and both live off of pain and suffering.

There's no need for that. Bob assumed the form of Dale Cooper.

Bob left the black lodge as a doppelganger of Dale Cooper, remember? There's no need for Silva. Bob is Dale Cooper now.

OMG. Please don't let me die of a brain tumor or get hit by a bus before I see these episodes. Please oh please oh please….

You could toss Gordon into the mix I guess, but he was only deadpan-hilarious, not deadpan-creepy-hilarious most of the time, Robert. ;)

I find it odd that Carrie has morphed from hero of the show to anti-hero to a downright psychotic narcissistic villain now. Nobody else thinks that's weird? The writers are ok with plots(sometimes) but absolutely horrible with writing characters. It doesn't get much worse than Homeland in that regard. The only other

You might get lucky, Cuckoo-Carrie will probably fuck the Pakistani kid at some point. I just won't be there to see it.

Someone should send a letter to disqus. I actually miss the downvote capability. Why do they even have the element there if you can't use it anymore? It's weird.

How about both are disgusting?
