@Curves: Am I sensing a bit of retroactive defensiveness regarding your own misuse of Comic Sans?

What happens when you're watching a movie and one of the "magic words" appears in the dialog?

@lunarcore: Exactly the same as PC games.

HahahahhahahahahahahahahHahahA...!! Eat that Dude Huge!

DeadSpace and Far-Cry 2 week here.. could not care less about Fable even if it were being released on PC this week.

@Kenny: If it weren't for the repressive nature of society this would not be a perversion and people could care less to take that kind of picture in the first place. ie: molester priests

Finally showing their true colors.. I want one!

What is this new fangled Hardware Transform and Lighting?

lol, oh man.. I'm just trying to imagine running a game directly from an optical disc on my pc.. it's about time consoles made this quantum leap.

Dude Huge sure knows soulless.

Great article, thanks Brian.

@crashfrog: So you plan to keep that PC forever? Lets face it, people upgrade their computers every few years anyway regardless of if they are a gamer or not.. If they don't I feel bad for them. Anyway my point is you can't really compare a PC cost $ to $ of a console unless you are looking at it purely as a gaming

@AdeptVoice: 20% is very unrealistic, I would guess far more people boycotted the game because of DRM than would have purchased it if piracy was not an option.

@Zodduska: I'm not trying to condone piracy but I'm tired of people trying to pretend that a 360 scene does not exist, we just don't see nearly as much bitching about it.

@RawSteelUT: I think you are kidding yourself to think it's such a huge leap to run pirated software on a 360 vs having to burn/mount/copypasta for a pc release.. I think both are fairly out of reach for the average pc user (they have really shitty hardware anyway)

@henri1kk: I think most savvy people (thats how im referring to pirates from now on) are conscientious enough to realize that without support good developers would abandon the platform and they don't want that to happen.. people who won't don't count, since they don't care enough to ever buy a game in the first place.

@kagai: right on, it's just an easy scapegoat to use when explaining to executives when they ask why the game didn't sell. It wasn't the fact that it was a year old horribly buggy half-assed port, it was the pirates I tell ya!

@interstate78: or maybe developers should just face the facts and adapt, as has been the case since the beginning of PC gaming.. Some of them are doing great, others continue to cry me a river of torrential proportions.
